Timo Tuhkanen works at the often-disorienting epicenter where contemporary art and music meet. His artistic practice is presently focused on designing and creating direct actions and political interventions through collective intelligence.
Tuhkanen’s subject matters often adapt themselves within specific occupied environments. He sometimes describes his works as hybrid forms of narrative fiction and mythopoetics.
For his Love&Money event, Tuhkanen has installed a 12-meter long one-stringed instrument (technically called a “monochord”), running the length of our hallway gallery space.
